Well, here goes nothing. It has been a goal of mine for several years now to start a blog, however I have never been successful. I have always logged on, designed the blog and then given up. So what makes this time different? Well, in February I decided to take some time to work on myself. I took a free course, run by the great Kayse Morris, to help develop my Teachers Pay Teachers site and I listened to Rachel Hollis’s book Girl, Wash your Face.
One thing that was consistent with both my course and this book was to set a goal and don’t be afraid to go after it. So here I am, attempt number 7 to start a blog. I have made the commitment, but the difference is that now I have something to talk about. This year my life changed in some of the most profound ways. First I lost my job, I will get into that more in a different post. I became a mother to the most amazing little boy and we bought a house. These things have helped bring me to were I am at this very moment. Sitting at lunch, typing a blog post.
I am a teacher, a wife, a mother, a soon to be home owner and now I am adding blogger to my title. I know it will be a challenge, it will take me some time but I am determined to make this happen.
